Live In Moscow

Live In Moscow is Lindemann's only live album. Released on 21 May 2021, it captures the 2020 tour, which was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The live album was filmed in Moscow on March 15, 2020, during two concerts given on the same day (due to the interdiction to play in front of more than 5,000 people, Lindemann had agreed to play twice so that all fans could attend the performance).

Promotion

The live show was first mentioned on November 13, 2020, at the same time as Till and Peter announced their separation and the end of the Lindemann project. The announcement stated that the band would still release the DVD in spring 2021.

Live In Moscow was then unveiled on March 15, 2021, exactly one year after the concerts. The band posted on social networks suggesting that the live show would be available on Youtube that evening at 20:15 CET. In fact, only the intro and the beginning of Skill In Pills were broadcast, followed by a trailer and the announcement of the different formats available for pre-order.

Every two weeks, a song (Allesfresser, Praise Abort, Blut, Home Sweet Home and finally Steh auf) was unveiled on Youtube and streaming platforms.

Film

On May 20, 2021, fans in selected countries with good sanitary conditions (France, UK, USA, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Australia) were able to see the Live In Moscow in the cinema (click to see the film poster). Screenings in other countries were organised during the summer of 2021. Reservations were made on a website created for the occasion: Lindemann.film
